Transfer ownership

Hand the org to someone else.

Ownership can move to another teammate when you change roles or leave the company.

Transfer it

1. Open Organization. 2. Find the person who should take over. They must already be a member. 3. Choose to transfer ownership to them. 4. Confirm.

The transfer waits about a minute. They become the Owner. You keep Full access afterward unless someone changes your role. See Why did Full access take a minute?.

Before you transfer

- Tell the person first, since they inherit billing and member management. - Pick someone who will still be at the company for a while. - Make sure at least one other teammate has Full access as a backstop.

Good reasons to do it

- You are leaving the company. - You set the workspace up on someone else's behalf. - Recruiting has moved to a different owner internally.

Who can do it

Only the current Owner. If they have already left and cannot sign in, reach out through the help option and we will work with your team to sort it out.
