Move candidates between stages

Move one or many candidates to a new stage from Candidates or a job pipeline.

Change a candidate's stage from Candidates or a job's pipeline.

Move one person

1. Open Candidates or the job's pipeline. 2. Find the person. 3. In the table, open their stage control. On a job's board, drag the card or right-click it. In a job's list on a phone, press and hold their card, then choose Pipeline in the action bar.

It saves immediately and your team sees it.

Move several

Select the people, then apply the new stage to all of them. Check their rows in the table, then choose Pipeline in the action bar. For a first pass this is two actions: yes pile to phone screening, the rest to rejected.

Emails sent on a move

If a stage has a template turned on, moving someone into it sends that email automatically. Check which stages are wired up before a bulk move. See Stage email templates.

Undo a move

Move them back. History stays intact. A stage email is sent about two minutes after the move, and only if the candidate is still in that stage, so an immediate undo sends nothing. An email that already went out cannot be recalled.

Candidates on several jobs

Stages are per job. Moving someone on one role does not change their stage on another.
