Move jobs between stages

Drag or pick a stage.

Moving a job to a new stage takes a second, either by dragging the card or picking a stage from its menu.

Drag and drop

On a computer, select Grid in the top-right of Saved (to the right of Share), then:

1. Press and hold a job card. 2. Drag it to the column you want. 3. Release. The card settles into its new stage.

If a column is off screen, drag the card towards the edge of the board and the view scrolls with you.

On the list view, press and hold or right-click a card instead, then pick a stage. See Saved jobs overview.

Pick a stage from the menu

Dragging is fiddly on a small screen, so there is a simpler route:

1. Open the menu on the job card. 2. Choose Move to or the stage picker. 3. Select the stage.

This is the same action, just without the dragging. See Saved jobs on mobile.

When to move a card

- Saved to In progress when you start an application you have not finished. - In progress to Applied the moment you submit, not later. - Applied to Interview as soon as a conversation is booked. - Interview to Offer when you have something in writing. - Anything to Rejected or Withdrawn when it ends, whether they said no or you walked away.

Moving a card out of your active columns does not delete it. Your history stays, which is useful when you want to see how the search actually went. See Share your job search history.
