Invite people to a survey
Who you can share a survey with and how the link works.
Sharing controls two things at once. It decides who is allowed to open the survey and how they receive the link.
Open Invite responders
1. Go to Surveys and open the survey you want to send. 2. Select Invite people. 3. In Invite responders, choose who can answer under Invite people, then copy the link or send invites.
Choose who can answer
| Setting | Who gets in |
| --- | --- |
| **Only people invited** | Just the people you name. Organization owners, Full access, and Can edit teammates can still open and answer it to preview. Everyone else is turned away. |
| **Anyone with the link** | No sign-in needed, so this is the one for candidate questionnaires and anything public. |
| **Everyone at {your company}** | Any of your teammates who opens the link. |
Changing this later does not delete answers you already collected.
Who you can invite
Once you have picked the audience, add the people:
- Employees from your roster - Candidates in your pipeline - Whole departments, so everyone in that department gets access without naming them one by one - Email addresses typed in directly, including people outside your organization
Mixing these is fine. A new-hire checklist might go to one employee, while an exit survey goes to a whole department.
Sending the link
- Copy link puts the survey URL on your clipboard so you can paste it into email or chat. - Invite by email sends the link directly from Worklittle.
The link stays the same each time, so you can pin it in a group chat or add it to an onboarding checklist.
After someone submits, opening the link again shows Submitted! on that browser (and for signed-in teammates, across devices too). They can tap Edit response at the bottom to change their answers and submit again.
Closing a survey
Set the survey status to closed when you are done collecting. People who open the link afterwards see a message saying the survey is no longer accepting answers. Your existing results stay available.
