Pipeline stages explained

What each Saved board column means, from Saved through Offer, plus Skipped and Viewed.

Each column on your Saved board is a stage showing how far along you are with a role. Jobs start in Saved when you heart them, and you choose when they move.

Main stages

| Stage | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Saved | Interested, not applied yet |
| Pending | Not finished yet: applying now (spinning circle), waiting for you (**Needs review** or **Approve**), or found by Auto-apply and waiting for **Approve** |
| Applied | Application is in, waiting. Newest first, including jobs Auto-apply sent |
| Interview | A conversation is booked or has happened |
| Offer | You have an offer to consider |
| Rejected | They said no |
| Withdrawn | You pulled out or no longer want the role |

Open the board at Saved. On a phone, swipe the list left or right to move between stages.

Skipped

Skipped holds every role you passed on while browsing. It is not behind a setting. It appears once you save or apply for a job, so your active stages stay easy to scan. Drag it anywhere among your stages. See Skipped jobs.

Viewed

Viewed holds roles you opened long enough to read (about a second) that are not already elsewhere on your board. Quick peeks do not count, and skipping on the jobs deck adds a Skipped card, not a Viewed one.

- The column stays hidden until it has at least one job. - It starts last on the board, and you can drag it anywhere. - Drag cards into or out of Viewed like any other stage. - Hearting or applying moves the role into the normal pipeline and out of Viewed.

Keep it accurate

- Move a card the same day something changes. - Move dead roles into Rejected or Withdrawn rather than leaving them in Applied.

Reading the shape of your board:

- Many in Saved, few in Applied: you are researching more than applying. - Many in Applied, few in Interview: your resume and cover letter probably need work. See Create or edit a resume in chat. - Reaching Interview but stopping there: practice interviewing.
