Create or edit a resume in chat

Build application materials with AI.

Chat can build a complete resume from a conversation, or take the resume you already have and sharpen it for a specific job.

Create resume from a job

On a job page, tap Create resume. If you have not uploaded a resume yet, the same upload window as Apply with AI appears. Upload successfully once, and Create resume continues automatically with a tailored document for that role.

You can also open Jobs or any job detail, then use Create resume from there.

Start from what you already have

1. Attach your current resume to a chat message. See Photos, files, and video in chat. 2. Paste the job posting you are targeting, or its link. 3. Ask for what you want, for example "rewrite this resume for that posting and keep it to one page."

Chat pulls your history out of the file so you are editing rather than starting from a blank page.

Start from scratch

No resume yet? Answer the questions chat asks, in whatever order you like:

1. Your most recent job, employer, and rough dates. 2. What you actually did day to day, in your own words. 3. Anything you improved, sped up, saved, or sold. 4. Schools, certificates, or licences.

Plain speech is fine. "I ran the register and trained the two new people" becomes a proper resume bullet point.

Refine and export

Ask for changes one at a time so you can see the effect:

- "Cut this to one page." - "Use stronger verbs in the second job." - "Add numbers where you can, and mark anything you guessed."

When it looks right, open it as a document to format, download, or print. See Documents in chat.

Always read the final version yourself. You know your history best, and hiring managers can tell when nobody proofread.
