Copy code blocks

Grab an example without selecting text by hand.

Every code example, including the prompt templates in the prompt guides, has a copy button.

Copy a block

1. Hover over the code block. On a touch screen the button is always visible. 2. Select Copy in the top right corner of the block. It confirms with Copied. 3. Paste.

The copy takes the whole block exactly as written, with no line numbers.

After you paste

- Replace anything in square brackets, such as [your city]. - Replace placeholder keys such as YOUR_API_KEY with a real key. See API keys. - For a whole page, use Copy a whole page.
