AI headshots
Create a professional photo for applications.
AI headshots turn an ordinary photo of you into a clean, professional-looking portrait you can use on applications and profiles.
Create a headshot
1. Attach a clear photo of yourself to a chat message. 2. Ask for a headshot, and say what you want: "Make this a professional headshot with a plain background." 3. Review the result, then ask for adjustments such as a different background or a more casual look. 4. Download the version you like.
Attaching a photo and asking what it is gets a description. Chat only makes a headshot when you ask for one.
Guests get 2 headshots per device per day. See Headshot limits.
Pick a good source photo
The starting photo matters more than the instructions. Look for:
- Your face clearly visible, facing roughly forward. - Even lighting, ideally near a window. Avoid harsh shadows. - No sunglasses, hats, or heavy filters. - Just you in frame, not a cropped group photo.
A recent phone selfie in daylight usually beats an old photo from an event.
Using it well
A headshot helps most on profiles and networking sites. Many employers do not want a photo on the resume itself, and in some places including one can work against you, so check what is normal for your industry and country.
Keep it recognisable. The point is to look like a well-photographed version of yourself, not a different person.
