Employees overview

Sort, filter, and edit your team roster in one table.

Employees lists everyone who works at your organization. It looks like a spreadsheet, but every cell saves for your whole team the moment you change it.

Open Employees

Go to Employees, or select Employees under HR in the left sidebar at worklittle.com/business. On a phone, open the sidebar with the menu button in the top left corner. Some roles also have an Employees tab at the bottom of the screen.

Columns

Each row is one person. Columns include:

- Name, Contact, and Links - Job title and Department - Employment type and Workplace type - Office location and Home address - Start date, End date, and Birthday - Compensation, Equity, and Visa - Bonus, Perks, Insurance, Retirement, Last promotion, PTO remaining, Total reimbursements, Contract, and NDA - Pipeline stage and Saved

After each person's name is a fit score, like 74%: how well they fit the role they hold now (for Alumni, the role they had), from their work history (including roles they've had with you), skills, education, and any written performance feedback on their profile. The role is the job post they were hired from, or your job post with the same title, or just their job title when there's no post. Hover it to see each part. It's a starting point for growth and placement conversations, never a verdict, and it ignores names, contact details, ages, addresses, and school names. It updates on its own after you change their title, skills, or education, or add feedback. Scoring… means it's still being worked out. No number means they have no job title yet, or there wasn't enough on their profile to judge fairly. See How fit scores work for every factor.

The columns on the Bonus line stay hidden until at least one person has a value, and show up as soon as someone adds one. Contract and NDA show a file button that opens the uploaded document. Columns size to what is in them, so long titles may be cut short. Drag a column edge to widen it, or double-click the edge to fit it. To add your own column such as "Badge number", right-click anywhere in the table and choose Add column. Type the column name, then click any cell to fill it in. To remove it, right-click the column and choose Delete column. The same works on Candidates.

Filter and add

On Employees, the buttons above the list narrow it to one stage (Employee, Offboarding, Alumni), saved people, new hires from the last 90 days, people starting soon, one department, or one employment type (in the table view, the same choices are under Filter at the top right). + adds an employee. On a phone, Employees is a list of cards; press and hold a card to select it and use the action bar. Once a person's End date has passed, they move from Employee to Alumni automatically.

Work with the table

- Sort: open a column header menu and choose an order. - Edit: click a cell and type. There is no save button. - Open a profile: select a person's name. See Employee profiles. - Act on many rows: select rows with the checkboxes to email, export, or move them. See Bulk employee actions.

Add people

- Add manually: type the person in yourself. - Hire from Candidates: move an applicant into the roster without retyping their details.

New people appear at the top of the table.
