Tips for better answers
How to ask so chat helps faster.
A few small habits make a big difference in how useful chat is, and most of them come down to giving it your real situation instead of a generic question.
Say who you are and what you want
Compare these two requests:
- "Write a cover letter." - "I have three years in retail, I am applying to be a receptionist at a dental clinic, and I want a warm three paragraph cover letter."
The second gets a usable draft on the first try. Include your experience level, the role, and the tone you want.
Give it the real material
- Paste the actual job posting rather than describing it. - Attach your real resume instead of summarising it. - Share the exact email you received when you want help replying.
Chat can only work with what it can see. See Photos, files, and video in chat for how to attach things.
Ask for the format you need
Say how you want the answer shaped: a bullet list, a table, five options, under 100 words, or ready to paste into an email. It is faster than reshaping a long paragraph afterwards.
If you want choices, ask for them. "Give me three different opening lines" beats getting one and asking again.
Iterate instead of restarting
When an answer is close but not right, say exactly what to change rather than rewriting your question from scratch. "Keep the second paragraph, redo the first, and cut the closing" gets you there in one step.
Start a new chat only when the topic genuinely changes. See Chats and threads.
