Report a chat

Flag something that feels wrong.

If a response is harmful, wrong in a way that matters, or just plain strange, you can report a concern so the team can look into it. You can do this while signed out.

How to report

1. Open the chat containing the response. 2. Open the chat menu, usually shown as three dots near the top of the conversation. 3. Choose Report. 4. In Report a concern, pick the reason that fits best (including Not relevant to me). 5. Submit.

You will not get a reply to every report, but every one is read.

What is worth reporting

- Advice that could hurt someone, or that encourages something unsafe. - Confident answers that are factually wrong about pay, rights, or a legal process. - Offensive, biased, or discriminatory language. - Anything that looks like a scam or asks you for money or sensitive details.

Small annoyances, like an answer being too long, are better handled by simply asking for a shorter version.

Stay safe in the meantime

Treat chat as a well-read helper, not a lawyer, doctor, or accountant. For decisions with money or legal consequences, check with a qualified person.

Never send payment or bank details to an employer you have not verified. If a posting asks for that, report the job as well. See When a job is closed for how listings get removed.
