Apply for jobs through the API
Start Apply with AI from your own code: a free test run, one job or up to 10 at once, progress, and review before submit.
Developers can start the same Apply with AI that runs on worklittle.com with one request. This page is the short version. The full reference is Apply for jobs.
1. Try a free test run
Send { "test": true } to POST /v1/apply-with-ai. Nothing is sent to an employer, nothing is stored, and nothing is billed. The test goes from queued to running to completed in about 25 seconds, so you can build your code against it first. You need an API key.
2. Apply to a job
Send POST /v1/apply-with-ai with a job_id from job search. By default Worklittle applies as you, with your profile and resumes.
The response has a session_id and a status_url. Check the status_url to follow progress. Every response also has a next_step sentence that tells you what to do now, for example answer a question or approve the submit. Only completed means the application was sent.
3. Review before it is sent (optional)
Send "auto_submit": false and the application stops at awaiting_submit once it is filled in. Look it over, then send POST /v1/apply-with-ai/SESSION_ID/approve-submit to send it. Leave auto_submit out to use your account's setting, which matches Submit without confirmation in Profile settings.
Several jobs at once
POST /v1/apply-with-ai/batch takes job_ids (up to 10) for the same person and returns one result per job. One job failing does not stop the others.
See every application
GET /v1/applications lists everything, pending and finished, including jobs auto-apply has picked but not started yet. Check it before applying. Worklittle never applies to one job twice for the same person. A repeat request returns already_applied: true and is not billed. See Will Worklittle apply to the same job twice?.
