Instant job alerts

Email alerts for new roles that match the Job title on your profile.

Instant job alerts email you new roles that match the Job title on your profile, without you having to check the site every day.

Turn them on

1. Open General settings. 2. Under Emails, switch on Instant job alerts. 3. Set Job title on your profile to the role you want.

The switch turns on the email. The job title decides what goes in it.

How matches are chosen

Matches come only from the Job title field, which is the role you are searching for, not the one you have.

- List several titles, separated by commas, to match any of them. - Put a minus in front of a word to rule it out, for example -Senior.

There is no separate alert to build. Changing the field changes the emails. See Your dream role field.

Frequency

- New matches are checked through the day. - An email is sent only when there are at least five new roles to show. - You receive at most three alert emails per day.

Not receiving alerts

- Confirm Instant job alerts is on. See Email preferences. - Confirm Job title is filled in. See Your dream role field. - Use a broader title or add a second one. "Designer" matches far more than "Senior Design Systems Lead". - Check whether an exclusion is too broad. -Lead removes many postings. - Check spam and mark the message as not spam.
