Publish, close, or delete a job

How draft, published, and closed jobs differ, and when to close vs delete.

A job is a draft, published, or closed.

States

Publish

Finish the details and choose Publish. The job appears on your company page and in Worklittle search within a few minutes. Edits to a live job appear without republishing.

Close

Close a job when the role is filled or paused. It stops accepting applications and leaves your public page. Candidates already in the pipeline stay where they are. Closing preserves your hiring history, so use it for finished roles.

Delete

Deleting removes the job and cannot be undone. Use it for mistakes such as a duplicate or test post. If real people applied, close the job instead to keep their applications.
