Manage linked emails
How email addresses relate to your account, your device, and your profile.
Worklittle uses email in three different ways, and knowing which is which clears up most confusion.
One email signs in to one account
Your account is identified by the email you signed in with. There is no way to merge two accounts into one or to add a second sign-in address to an existing account.
If you sign in with a second address, that is a separate account with its own saved jobs, chats, and resume.
Emails signed in on this device
A single browser can hold up to three signed-in accounts at once, listed under Switch accounts in your settings. That list is what most people mean by their linked emails.
It is per device, so signing in on your laptop does not add anything to the list on your phone. Full details in Switch between accounts.
The work email on your profile
Separately from sign-in, your job seeker profile has a field for a work email. This is contact information that goes onto applications. It has nothing to do with how you log in and changing it will not change your sign-in address.
See Work email vs personal email for which address belongs where.
Changing the email on an account
An account's sign-in address cannot be edited. If you need to move to a new address, sign in with the new one to create an account there and set your profile up again.
Before you abandon the old account, export your data from settings so you keep a copy of what was in it. See Delete your account for where the export lives.
Emails Worklittle sends you
Sign-in codes always go to the address you are signing in with.
Everything else, including job alerts, local events, and announcements, is controlled under Emails in your settings and requires being signed in. Turn any of them off there at any time.
