When to use the API vs the apps
Who needs keys and who can just use the website.
Worklittle has two front doors. Most people should walk through the app. The API is for building something custom. For a short tour first, see What is the Worklittle API?.
Use the apps if
- You want to search and apply for jobs - You are hiring and want to post a role, review candidates, or manage your team - You want to run surveys, send documents, or track attendance - You want to ask an AI assistant to help with any of the above
None of this needs an API key. Just sign in at worklittle.com or worklittle.com/business.
Use the API if
- You want jobs to appear on your own website - You want Worklittle data inside another system you own - You are building an AI agent that needs live job data - You want to sync candidates into another tool automatically
This work is done by a developer, and it needs an API key. See How do I give a developer access?.
A middle option
MCP lets AI tools connect to Worklittle without anyone writing code. It is a good fit if you use an AI assistant and want it to look up real jobs. See Connect an AI tool without writing code and REST vs MCP in plain English.
Where the developer docs live
Hand your developer the Jobs docs or the Business docs. See also Help Center vs API reference.
