Surveys overview

Ask your team or candidates questions and collect answers in one table.

Surveys let you ask a group of people a set of questions and read every answer in one place. Use them for onboarding checklists, engagement pulses, exit interviews, or candidate screening.

Where to find it

Open Surveys on Worklittle Business, or select Surveys under HR in the left sidebar at worklittle.com/business.

The page lists every survey you have created, plus a gallery of templates you can start from.

How a survey works

1. You build the questions. See Create a survey. 2. You choose who can answer. See Invite people to a survey. 3. People open a link and fill it in. 4. Answers land in a results table. See View survey responses.

Moving through questions

On the answer form, people can move without using the on-screen arrows:

- Scroll down or up, or use the arrow keys, to go to the next or previous question - Enter also goes to the next question (or submits on the last one) - Delete (or Backspace outside a text box) goes to the previous question - For multiple choice, Tab moves between options, then Space or a click selects

Typing in a text box still works as usual. Delete and Backspace only edit text while the cursor is in that field.

Anonymous answers

A survey can collect answers without names attached. Anonymous responses show as "Anonymous" in the results table, which is useful for honest feedback. Decide this before you send the link, because it changes what people are willing to say.

Good uses

- Onboarding: confirm a new hire has equipment, accounts, and a buddy - Pulse checks: one or two questions each month - Exit interviews: capture why someone is leaving - Candidate screening: ask the same questions of every applicant
