Attach photos, documents, and short videos to a message.

Attach photos, documents, and short videos to a message and chat reads what is in them.

Attach a file

1. Select the paperclip or plus button next to the message box. 2. Choose a file from your device, or take a photo on your phone. 3. Add a sentence saying what you want, then send.

On a computer you can also drag a file onto the chat window or paste a screenshot from your clipboard. Wait for the thumbnail to appear before sending.

Limits and storage

- About 10 MB per file, up to 10 files per message. - About 1 GiB of storage when signed in, kept about 90 days. See Attachment size and storage limits. - Attachments stay with the chat and return when you reopen it. - Redact sensitive details, such as a full Social Security number, before uploading.
