Skip vs Apply

What each button on a job card does.

Skip and Apply are the two buttons on every job card, and they do quite different things.

Skip

Skip takes the role out of your browsing. You will not keep bumping into it as you go.

Nothing about a skip reaches the employer. They never find out. It is only a signal for what we show you next.

Skips are also recoverable. Every one lands in the Skipped column on your Saved board, so a role you passed on a second too early is easy to get back. See Skipped jobs.

In ChatGPT or Claude, Skip keeps your place in the deck if you reload. When your Worklittle account is connected there, skips also land in the same Skipped column.

Apply

Apply on a card starts Apply with AI for that role. Worklittle opens the company's real application in a cloud browser in chat, fills it from your resume, and sends it. You can watch and take control anytime.

A few jobs posted directly on Worklittle show Easy apply on the job page once the in-product form is ready. Until then the button says Apply. That form stays on the posting itself, separate from the Apply button on a card.

Either way, have a current resume on file first. See Resume required before applying. Create or edit a resume in chat can sort one out in a few minutes.

In ChatGPT or Claude you can search and skip without signing in. Apply is when you may be asked to connect Worklittle, then shown the resume upload window if you need one.

A good rhythm for a browsing session:

1. Skip anything obviously wrong, quickly. 2. Heart anything interesting. 3. Apply properly to your hearted list afterwards, when you can give each one attention.
