Bulk employee actions

Update, email, or export many people at once.

When a change affects a whole department, you do not need to edit one row at a time. Select several people and act on all of them together.

Select people

1. Go to Employees in the left sidebar. 2. Use the checkbox at the start of each row to select people. 3. Use the checkbox in the header row to select everything currently shown.

A small action bar appears once you have at least one row selected.

What you can do in bulk

| Action | Result |
| --- | --- |
| Email | Opens a new message with everyone selected in the blind copy field |
| Export | Downloads the selected rows as a spreadsheet file |
| Move stage | Sets the same workforce stage for everyone selected |
| Bookmark | Flags people so you can find them again quickly |

Deselect everything by selecting the header checkbox twice or pressing Escape.

Exports

The export includes the standard columns plus any custom columns you added. The file name includes the date and your time zone so downloads do not overwrite each other.

Treat exported files carefully. They contain personal information about your team.

Before a large change

- Filter or sort first so you are certain the right people are selected. - Start with a small batch to confirm the result looks right. - Bulk changes are not undone with a single click, so a quick export beforehand is a cheap safety net.
